Two jobs at once
A lead supplier has to prepare its own dossier and, at the same time, stand behind its supply chain: the framework asks for it in expectations 4 and 5. But subcontractors are small, answer to several clients and often have nobody following these topics. Collecting documents by email and spreadsheets doesn't hold up. Since 2024 the Court of Milan has placed several fashion companies under judicial administration over the exploitation of workers in their supply chains: knowing where each subcontractor stands matters.

Invite your subcontractors
You send an invitation by email. Whoever accepts joins your supply chain and, if they agree, shares their dossier with you.

For each supplier: sharing status, documents with expiry dates, result of the latest self-assessment. You know who is behind before an audit asks.
You respect workers' data
Documents containing personal data of your suppliers' workers never reach you: you see that they exist and their status, not the files.

Frequently asked questions
Do my suppliers have to pay?
No. Suppliers use SCDD Moda for free. Only you pay, if you follow more suppliers than the free allowance.
Can a supplier refuse to share?
Yes. The supplier decides: when it accepts the invitation the sharing box is already ticked, but it can untick it and withdraw sharing later. If it doesn't share, you only see that it is in your supply chain.
Does SCDD Moda say whether a supplier is compliant?
No. It shows each supplier's status, expiry dates and self-assessment, which are the suppliers' own declarations. It is not a certification and doesn't replace your own checks and audits.
